If the organization doesn't pay why the dancers want to perform . One more thing I like to mention is that, most of the dancers income is from teaching. But performing musicians income is only from the performance. How can you expect a musician to do 3 rehearsal and a program for free. You also expect the musicians to gel well with the dance. I am in the field for the past 20 years. I worked with a dancer in the US for 10 years and if I would have been remunerated properly for the service I did, I can own 5 Mercedes.
