The Indo-American Arts Council is delighted to announce our 
FIRST ANNUAL IAAC DANCE FESTIVAL 
 
IAAC invites applications from dancers and dance companies to present original choreographies based on South Asian dance forms, with high standards of quality and artistic excellence
 
Please note the festival: 
Requires original choreography 
Cannot provide accommodation 
Cannot provide transportation to New York 
Modest honoraria will be paid. 
Daytime Performances on outdoor stage requires dance to recorded music 
Evening Performances on indoor stage may state live or recorded music

Please submit your application with the following documentation:
Completed "Call for entries" application form 
Video/DVD of a ten- twenty minute  dance  (Please send the entire performance cued - or chapter marked - to the specific area you wish us to view first) 
Pictures and 75 word Bios of the Dancer(s) and short programme information. 
Short write-up about the work you wish to present 
Stage Plan for proposed performance 
List of five previous performances nation/world-wide and reviews if any 
Names of all the people in the production (performers, choreographer, production persons)
   
Please note applications will not be processed until all requisite materials have been submitted.
