Theatre Garage Project

After the successful completion of first ˜Theatre Garage in July 07; Mask Players is organising another, intense 15 days theatre workshop in May 08; with focus on Voice/body based on Alexander Technique, Theatre clowning and Acting. 

The aim of the workshop is to work intensely away from distractions of city life. The workshop will be run on the format of a theatre camp, deep inside Himalayan forest near Ramgarh- Uttarakhand (8 hours bus ride from Delhi). For location you can visit www.himalayanvillage.com
Theatre Garage space is 20 minutes walk from Sonapani.

The current workshop is second in the series of initiative that are part of the ˜Theatre garage project to strengthen theatre training in India. The workshop is open to both fresh and experienced people who
want to work intensively on body, voice and acting.

A day off trek to Mukteshwar will be part of the project.

You pay for travel, accommodation and food. NO FEE

The facilities are primitive and people with passion for theatre/acting and explorative work apply.
