May 6, 2012 A historic milestone has been reached by this dance portal. We have marked a total of 1,526 signatures from across the world in support of our petition to reinstate Leela Samson as Director of the Kalakshetra Foundation. The online campaign started on May 1, quickly gathered support due to the efforts of the core Narthaki team of Lalitha, Sumathi, Sujay, Raksha and Ragothaman (from USA). I was in touch and directing the efforts while in London and Brussels. Thank you to all those who signed the petition, shared the news on your own sites and Facebook pages and sent us kudos for the initiative. Each of your signatures has made this effort reach the mainstream print media as well as the corridors of power in New Delhi. You are an amazing group of netizens and this moment of pride could not have been reached without all of you.
