Kalai Kaviri College of Fine Arts conducted Arangetram of final year students of Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts at 6 pm on March 24, 2001. The second convocation for graduates and Post Diploma was held on March 25, 2001 at 6pm. His Excellency Dr.Anthony Devotta presided over the function and gave away the Kalai Kaviri Awards for 2001. The chief guest Dr.Muthiah Mariappan, Vice Chancellor of Bharathidasan University, Trichy awarded the degrees. |

Hemamalini herself gave the vocal support, Sharada Dinamani was the second singer, N.Ch.Ragunandan was on mattuvangam,V.Banuprasad on mridangam and Ravi Kiran, Sai Kumar, Sri Ragavendra on flute, violin and ghatam respectively. |
