I have a dream

From the 14th to the 18th of March at Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Sicily, Italy, there will be six representations of  'I have a dream' - a mega production under the direction of Beppe Menegatti. The ballet is dedicated to the memory of those people in the history of human mankind who have dedicated their lives to the uplift and betterment of social injustices, such as Martin Luther King, Don Lortenzo, Ernesto Che Guevara, Mother Theresa, Aung San Sui Kyi, the mothers of Plaza de Mayo and Jan Palach. 

It is an ode to universal peace which sees the participation of an international cast of dancers from different part of the world.  A group of Odissi dancers from Art Vision, Bhubaneswar, under the direction and choreography of Dr. Ileana Citaristi, will take part in the segment dedicated to Mother Theresa of Kolkata which has as main protagonist Carla Fracci, the legendary Italian prima ballerina now in her sixties. The music for this segment is by Pandit Ravi Shankar.
