The concept of this production is to create an awareness amongst people in the subject of mental health through an artistic medium - dance. The music of "Dhhi" is composed by the multi-hued musician Mumbai Shankaranarayanan. He is well known in the field of classical music in India and has won many accolades for his skills in playing mridangam Namita Bodaji has been trained under the illustrious gurus of Sri Rajarajeshwari Bharatha Natya Kala Mandir, Mumbai, guru Vasant in particular. A recipient of 'Singar Mani' Namita is also a trained yoga teacher and practitioner. Her 'Yoga for Dancers' workshops regularly train dancers of all genres. Namita Bodaji's Samskara Academy of Fine Arts has performed for several prestigious festivals. They were recently invited to perform at Rice University and St Thomas University, Houston. |
