The dancers
Born in Chennai, Srinidhi Raghavan started learning Bharatanatyam at the tender age of five from her mother and guru Usha Raghavan and from guru Malathy Thothadri. Her experiences with dance have spanned several cultures and countries, including those of the UK, Switzerland, France, Italy, Liechtenstein, Barbados, the US and of course India; such exposure has in turn added an eclectic element to her delivery which, when combined with her traditional style, results in a unique reflection of elegance and experience.

Srinidhi's accomplishments include, as a student and President of a dance group at Columbia University, organising and participating in intercollegiate dance showcase and fundraisers in New York. More recently, Srinidhi and her friend, Sahasra, produced Her Story, a unique Bharatanatyam presentation that premiered in Manhattan's prestigious Peter Norton Symphony Space Theater to rave reviews. Srinidhi is at present a third year analyst at an Investment Bank in New York.
