Aditi Mangaldas is a leading dancer and choreographer in both the classical Indian dance form of kathak and the  contemporary idiom.  With  extensive training under the leading exponents of Kathak, gurus Kumudini Lakhia and Pandit Birju Maharaj, she has toured internationally and  performed in Asia, Europe and the USA. Aditi is recognised for her artistry and technique, and the eloquence and characteristic energy that mark every performance. 

She discusses the combination of classical and contemporary form in her choreographic work with dancer and choreographer Anusha  Subramanyam.
