Drishti Art Foundation was formed in the year 2001 by the young dynamic couple Anuradha Vikranth and TM Vikranth to promote and propagate classical arts. The foundation organizes workshops, seminars and so on in collaboration with other cultural organizations to promote classical arts. Anuradha Vikranth is a Bharatanatyam dancer of repute among the younger generation. Passionate about Bharatanatyam and noted for her grace, Anuradha believes that dance is a powerful medium of expression that transforms the dancer into a totally different person on stage. Trained in Bharatanatyam by Nirupama Rajendra and Guru Narmada, Anuradha has a perspective of dance and culture, beyond just teaching and performing as is evident in her founding and being the Creative Director of Drishti, the magazine reputed for its insights into the performing arts. Established in September 2001, Drishti Art Centre located at Sahakarnagar, Bangalore, is a premier dance institute for Bharatanatyam founded and headed by Anuradha Vikranth. Drishti Magazine is one of the most popular quarterly magazines from Karnataka on art, dance and music striving to entertain, inform and instruct readers. Spotting a niche in the market for a magazine that covers who’s who, what's what and what's on and so on, the team of three, Anuradha, Vikranth and Narayan endeavour to bring out Drishti as a magazine for art lovers, connoiseurs and serious students, with information about past, current and forthcoming events, exclusive features, and interviews, in-depth technical articles and a unique periodical directory of artists and art-related establishments. Drishti Dance Festival is one of the premier dance festivals of Bangalore, noted for stellar performances, unprecedented publicity and unmatched crowds. Anvi Grafix: T M Vikranth is the
head of Anvi Grafix, a design firm specializing in the designing and printing
of magazines and brochures, catering especially to the aesthetic tastes
of artists.
