Geeta Chandran & Natya Vriksha Dance Company present
So many journeys
February 3 - 13, 2010 UK

January 20, 2010

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Indian Republic (1950-2010), the Indian High Commission in Great Britain has invited Geeta and her Natya Vriksha Dance Company for  a series of high profile performances in February.

I celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Indian Republic with SO MANY JOURNEYS, a performance of classical dance that weaves two aspects of my dance persona: the traditional and the contemporary. The performance is a metaphor for the many journeys possible within India today. And which is what makes this creative journey such an exciting frontier.
