 AIPA presents 3rd Indo-European Dance Festival 2012 Workshops and performances March 24 - April 1, 2012 Noida December 9, 2011 In 2010, Kathak Dancer, Choreographer and Art Motivator, Alaknanda, thought of a remarkable idea to organise a dance festival, where for the first time, international and Indian classical dances could be learnt and performed. Hence, came the 1st Indo European Dance festival, a festival of Indian and European classical dance styles, in 2010 and the success story repeated the 2nd Indo European Dance Festival in 2011. More than 350 participants have been introduced to French, Polish, Russian and Indian Classical dances over the last two years. They have also performed at prestigious venues like Kamani Auditorium - New Delhi, Kala Academy - Goa, Great India Place - Noida and NCPA – Mumbai. 3rd Indo European Dance Festival (IEDF), 2012: The dance festival is for everyone and anyone who loves dancing! We invite participants of all age groups, to learn International and Indian dances from the best masters around the globe. All the dance styles have journeyed through the historical period to enrich its art style. In a 7 days’ workshop, you can learn exquisite dances and also get a chance to perform live, in front of a 900+ strong audience!
