Natyasaraswathi Bangalore presents 7TH AKHILA KARNATAKA KUCHIPUDI NRITHYOTSAVA with lecture demonstrations, interactions and exclusive Kuchipudi performances. The festival will be celebrated in Guru Bhavana (opp. New bus stand) Devanahalli town near Bengaluru International Airport.

‘Temple ritual dances’ (sketching images with footwork) by Guru Voleti Rangamani and study on Kuchipudi dance sculptures by Guru Acharya will be presented. Kuchipudi-Kathak, a comparative study and Jugabandhi dance will be presented by Anurekha Ghosh from Kolkata and Anupama Bhushan from Bengaluru.

‘Kuchipudi Natyasaraswathi Puraskar' with cash award will be conferred on Guru Voleti Rangamani (Hyderabad) and Guru Veena Murthy Vijay (Bangalore) for their contributions in the field of Kuchipudi. 

The festival is a tribute to Late Guru Lakshmi Rajamani whose sudden death in an accident is a great loss for Kuchipudi fraternity in Karnataka.
