9am to 12 noon: TRACKING THE SOURCE: Dialogue Workshop with Geeta Chandran open to dancers of all classical styles
 
4pm: Launch of renowned critic Leela Venkataraman’s book “Renaissance and Beyond” published by Niyogi Books
 
5:30pm: NAVADARSHANAM - Performance by senior disciples of Natya Vriksha
 
6:30pm: Tea
 
7pm: Screening of international film VARA produced by Cradle Motion Films, Hong / Kong / New York and directed by renowned international filmmaker Rinpoche Kyentse Norbu from Bhutan. (In the film Geeta Chandran plays the role of a devadasi and her students too have acted in the movie)
 
Sunday, 26 April 2015
11am: DHAROHAR, Bharatanatyam performance by Natya Vriksha Dance Company Next (junior disciples of Geeta Chandran)
 
4pm: RASA IN DANCE- INSPIRATION AND IMAGINATION - An illustrated talk by Guru Lakshmi Vishwanathan (Chennai). The talk will progress from theory to practice, exploring and drawing inspiration from parallels in Art. Lakshmi will take the rasikas on a journey of imagined and real beauty.

NATYA VRIKSHA YOUNG DANCERS FESTIVAL
6:30pm: Kuchipudi performance by T. Reddi Lakshmi, disciple of Gurus Jayarama Rao and Vanashree Rao
 
7:45pm: Kathak performance by Vishal Krishna of Benares
