Dancer, choreographer and speaker, Dr. Ananda Shankar Jayant, has been invited to speak at the high profile India Conference at Harvard (http://indiaconferenceatharvard.com/2016/speakers-2/)
Ananda speaks at the newly introduced ‘Inspire series’ of the India Conference at Harvard, Harvard Business School on 7th February 2016.

“It is indeed a great honour to be invited to speak at such a prestigious conference, where the leading minds of India, such as Chanda Kochar, Nirupama Rao, Kamal Hasan, and other luminaries of the worlds of business and politics, will share their thoughts. I am humbled to be part of this exciting conference,” says Ananda.

Alongside the Harvard conference, Ananda over 4 weeks, lectures, performs and conducts workshops, as well as cancer advocacy events,  across an eight  city, 15 event tour of USA , including lectures at MIT, Columbia College, Chicago; University of Wyoming; Oberlin College, Ohio; the Indian embassy at Washington DC, and events at Boston.

A classical dancer, choreographer and dance scholar, Ananda’s artistic body of work spans mythologies and abstraction, historical chronicles and women studies, poetry and abstraction, philosophy and humour. For her contribution to the field of classical art, she was conferred the Padma Shri in 2007 and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Puraskar for Bharatanatyam in 2009. A sought after motivational speaker Ananda, actively engages with young India on a wide range of topics, at leading corporate entities, leadership programs, hospitals, universities and schools. A TED speaker, Ananda’s TED talk was ranked by the Huffington Post as one of five greatest TED talks by Indians.
