Director: Indrayanee Mukherjee

Synopsis: The growth of a person is a cumulative process. An artist becomes what she/he is only because of the journey. Uma Dogra, a spectacular presence in the classical dance scenario, has dedicated 50 years of her life to dance. A recipient of the prestigious Maharashtra Sanskriti State Award (2009) by the Govt. of Maharashtra, the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award (2014) by the Govt. of India, she has travelled the world over and enthralled audiences with her magic. What makes her so distinct? What defines her dynamism? What keeps her dance so pristine and innovative? Kathakar…narrates it all.
