Theme : "Purush - A Puroshottama or a Prathibha?" by Parshwanath Upadhaye and team.
The topic will delve in the current status of man, whether a man is losing his self-respect. Is he regarded a man with high reverence or is it only in our imagination that he is respectable? Further, what does mythology and mystics have to say about a Purush.
AIKYAM is the brain child of Meghna Venkat, founder of Nritya Nadam. The unique feature of this festival is, Nritya Nadam will provide the theme for the dancer to perform, thus enhancing the knowledge on that subject. This theme will describe about mythology, mysticism, science and social cause. Aikyam and Nritya Nadam will release a book "The Theory of Classical Dance - A Text Book (Junior and Senior)" for aspiring students who will be appearing for Karnataka Govt dance examinations.
