Nandanik Dance Troupe presents DANCE FOR CURE, a montage of Indian classical and contemporary, folk dances to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life

Says Nandini: “I am an Acute Myleogenous Leukemia survivor and received a bone marrow transplant in November 2009. I have also had bilateral hip replacements with titanium hip joints. It was like receiving a second lease of life. So it is my turn to give back to the society. It was dance that kept me going as a patient, as a survivor, and now an activist. And American Cancer Society plays a huge role in our lives - and all without charging a penny.”

Venue: Indian Community Center, 205 Mary’s St., Carnegie, PA, 6:30-9:30pm
