EVAM began three years ago in order to bridge the gap between artists and art lovers. It is organized by RasaBodhi Arts Foundation which is an initiative to educate and propagate the Indian arts through collaborations, events and art appreciation workshops. RasaBodhi aspires to bring more people to engage in the arts, to encourage the exchange of ideas, enliven the experience of arts that will inspire both artists and viewers. In its second edition EVAM 2016 was INDIA'S FIRST CROWDFUNDED classical dance festival and was very well received making the festival one of the most awaited ones in Mumbai.

This year’s lineup of artists includes US based Prakriti Dance who will perform their successful production AMBA SHIKANDI. Also for the first time, Ashley Lobo's Navdhara, a sought after contemporary company, will present AMAARA. Soloists Sanjukta Wagh from Mumbai and Meenakshi Srinivasan from Chennai, Satyajit Dhananjayan’s latest choreographic work GANDHI and Parshwanath Upadhye / Punyah Dance Company’s SAT-GATI are other attractions. 

There will be workshops by acclaimed dancer Rama Vaidyanathan, Amith Kumar and Parshwanath Upadhye.

Beej presents Jheeni, an improvised quartet featuring Sanjukta Wagh, Shruthi Srinivasan, Hitesh Dhutia, Vinayak Netke & Deepa Dharmadikari.
