Sri Krishna Gana Sabha presents Aneka
38th Natya Kala Conference
Convened by Dr. Srinidhi Chidambaram
Dec 26-30, 2018 Chennai

October 31, 2018

The Concept
Aneka, signifying infinite variety, defines the world of classical dance.
It embodies the magnitude, the expanse and the depth.
It denotes the multitude of dancers from across the centuries who have left their footprint for the next generations to carry forward.
It signifies the old and the new, the young and the old, the accepted and the problematic, the global and the local.
It also represents the multitude of issues that surround us, many which need thoughtful and open conversations.

Aneka presents a glorious kaleidoscope of Indian dance in all its infinite hues and diversity, through three distinct verticals. Timeless will focus on treasures from the past, showcased in their pristine form. Transformative highlights new ideas and innovation. #Trending is about current issues in the world of dance.

Aneka also includes interactive experiences for smaller groups.
Aneka is for every member of the dance fraternity.
It is for the young dance student as it is for the mature voice. It is for the layperson as well as the erudite scholar. Aneka is all about diversity and the common thread of dance that unites us all.
Come, be a part of Aneka.
Be a part of infinity.
