Naada Bindu Festival is an annual residential music and dance festival by Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula (CNBG) that aims to facilitate improved understanding of the arts as a means to preserve and promote Indian classical art forms. Towards this end, the festival features:

• A richly diverse programme comprising performances by leading Indian classical music & dance practitioners
• Festival experience as a lifestyle, in a peaceful & picturesque Gurukula, as against an evening visit to a theatre
• Opportunity to connect with the metaphysical and spiritual aspects of the Indian classical art forms
• Interactive workshops and art-talks by performing artists

Sankhya Dance Company presents Shrimant Yogi (Dance Theatre)
Bharatanatyam endeavour by Vaibhav Arekar and team, it is an impressionistic dance expression on the inspiring tale of sacrifices of war and conflict, of establishing Swarajya and of dharma. This is the story of a true Karma yogi – Shivaji Maharaj.

Gowri Ramnarayan & Priyadarsini Govind present Aham Sita (Dance Theatre)
Aham Sita, a Justus Repertory Production, based on the epic woman Sita. Dance, music and the spoken word blend to frame five crucial moments in her life. As Sita tells her story, we also hear voices of other women from the Ramayana - Urmila, Ahalya, Surpanakha, Mandodari.

Shubhendra Rao (sitar) & Saskia Rao-de Haas (cello)
Pt. Shubhendra Rao, a leading sitarist and disciple of Pt. Ravi Shankar, is a musical ambassador by his ability to bridge cultures across the world. Saskia Rao-de Haas is a brilliant cellist and composer who plays Indian classical music on the cello. The Shubhendra & Saskia Rao Foundation is the husband-wife duo’s way of sharing their musical knowledge and its power to help children uncover their full potential.

Ram Deshpande (Hindustani vocal)
Dr. Ram Deshpande has established himself as a renowned vocalist and a commendable artist of the Gwalior and Jaipur gharanas. He has received advanced training from Pt. Yashwant Bua Joshi, Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar as well as Pt. Babanrao Haldankar, among others.

Anil Srinivasan (piano) & Sikkil Gurucharan (Carnatic vocal)
Anil Srinivasan is a unique pianist who is forging a blended style of his own. He is at the forefront of a revolution in arts education as well. Sikkil C. Gurucharan is among the foremost young performing musicians of Carnatic music today. The duo’s deep collaboration results in a fusion genre that is indeed beautiful.

Pravin Godkhindi (Bansuri)
Born in a family of musicians, from Dharwad, Pravin Godkhindi has studied under his father Pt.Venkatesh Godkhindi. Pravin is a gifted artiste, composer, vocalist, actor, tabla and harmonium player apart from what he is best at - the Bansuri!

Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula campus of Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth is situated in the picturesque 65-acre ashram campus of Chinmaya Vibhooti, Kolwan, near Pune. This venue has a 1008-capacity auditorium, multi-purpose seminar halls, two serene temples and comfortable accommodation facilities, making it the ideal setting for a complete arts-immersion retreat.
