Shambhavi School of Dance presents
dancejathre 2019
At Shankaraa Foundation
Jan 26 & 27, 2019 Bangalore

January 21, 2019

Combining the beauty of Nature, Art and Divinity, Shambhavi School of Dance is all set to launch the 8th edition of dancejathre in the beautiful ambience of Shankaraa Foundation, Bengaluru.

dancejathre is a ceremonial affair, where one meets the cultural side of oneself. A brainchild of dancer Vyjayanthi Kashi, it disseminates various kinds of dance forms catering to individuals with any or no proficiency level. The two-day event being held on 26th and 27th January will have a slew of programs like competitions, workshops, scintillating performances by eminent dancers of India and a photo exhibition.

To promote young and budding talent, dancejathre calls for applications for Solo (Sub Junior, Junior and Senior Category) and Group (Junior and Senior Category) Competitions. The competitions are open to individuals, dance institutions, schools, colleges, universities and companies.

To fill the vacuum between the dancer and spectator, 13 workshops are being held over a period of two days at dancejathre 2019. Workshops are open to those who want to start afresh or hone their current skills.

If you are an artist or a performer, you will have a rare opportunity to grow and learn from experts' work and enrich your body movements. Trigger your imagination by watching iconic performances by celebrated dancers of India.

The other attractions of dancejathre include photo exhibition titled DANCESCAPES by the young and budding Madhusudhan Menon from Mumbai.

dancejathre gives a rare opportunity for all to savour dance and makes for a good weekend festive occasion. So be there to witness dancejathre 2019
