"From Context to Subtext... | From Relevance to Reach..."
Indian poetry, especially within performance has evolved over time. The understanding and presentation of POETRY is a mirror to our sensibilities, conditioning and grasp of subtleties. To delve into our understanding of these aspects and the evolving creative process therein is essential to pave the way forward. kAvya is an experimental performance as part of the UNBOXED series.
Presenting Guru Padma Murali in performance.
And a re-telling of the 'traditional' by Janani Murali.
Accompanied by Vasudha Balakrishna, Srihari Rangaswamy, Narasimha Murthy
UNBOXED is a series of experiments in the field of movement arts that aims to look at the unravelling of creative processes in silos, in the company of co-artistes, across genre and much more. It will aim to look at deciphering concepts, tangible and intangible aspects, the Then and Now, relevance and contrasts and more.
If you would like to be a part of the movement arts experiments, do write in to email@example.com. Performers (across any genre) with at least 10 years of training can participate in the experiences curated towards this.
