Furthering Bharathanatyam skills while living in the US.

: Hello, I am a bharathanatyam dance student residing in the US. I have been learning for about 4 years now. I plan to do my arengetram in about 2 years. After this, I would like to further my skills by going to Chennai on a regular basis and learning from a senior artist in the field. I however cannot go to Chennai for months at a time, given that I do have a career and a husband here :) Is it possible to go to Chennai for a month at a time every 6 months or so to enhance my bharathanatyam skills by learning from someone well-known in the field. How do really serious students of bharathanatyam do this without actually re-locating to Chennai. Thanks much...please share your views.
