bharathanatyam means my integrity. it reflects my sincerety not only to art but everything i do in life. recently i have been accused of stealing something related to art and have been denied a say in something thats my own by my own people- i mean people i trusted. i was questioned and asked for evidence, which i didnt have anyway to prove my innocence. but, when someone who knows you so well doubts you, and questions your integrity, should u provide evidence, will there be any meaning in such partnership? this is what bharathanatyam taught me.
