 i havent completed arangetram, im just about your age (well 23 two months ago) and with similar desire - but you answered your question yourself...doing arangetram is not a crucial thing to be a good dancer.
the most important thing for a dancer - is not if he or she passed arangetram or not, i believe...it is the feeling, the understanding, the perfectness of style...like leela samson who practiced the same margam program for 15 yrs or so.
