I am trying to trace the origins of dance in Mumbai. Any help in the questions mentioned below will be appreciated.

- Any memorable performances in Bombay across ages? Have renowned exponents such as Rukmini Devi Arundale, Uday Shankar, Ram Gopal or others ever performed in Bombay and if so when and where?

- Any events that have been etched in Bombay's dance scene such as marathon performances?

- Landamrk institutions.

I am looking for informations which really goes far back in time.
