c, v take examples of the most perfect and idealistic, for the followers to match it. to make it simpler, let me take the eg u have mentioned. what natya shastra stats abt the qualities of a female dancer is the most perfect and idealistic in nature, for the students of dance to follow and try to reach that level, lest such requirement and examples exist, there will be no comparisiions to know ones skill or how far one has reached, no way to measure and know how far one has to go.
