More than criticizing others, it will be wonderful to appreciate others. I have been in the dance field in the US for some time and I have never scene anyone appreciating others from the bottom of there heart. After a concert or an arangetram I have seen people talking to the performer so good about the show and after going out of the theater they talk all contrary comments. There are good dancers in the US who are really good and equal to the so called Indian dance standard. It is not that easy in India or here in the US to take dance as a full time profession like AV, MS, PG ,,,,,for so many reasons. There are lot of good dancers in India and US but they are not popular performers. To my knowledge there are highly talented dancers and musicians in Karnataka and Kerala. But there is no recognition for them in there own state and also outside. My humble request to dance teachers, please teach the kids to appreciate our culture when they learn the art form. It is so precious.
