Low Payments for projects

Dear fellow dancers, I have a humble suggestion.. I know that it is fairly demanding to dance for a living, most importantly emotionally... So if you want to not feel depressed in the process, I recommend preparing yourself mentally for what you want to get out of each and every program that you do and whether or not it is going to further your dancing career. If you do not think something is worthwhile, better to spend your time doing something else... It is well known that it difficult for people from modest backgrounds to practice this art... I think world over, artists are struggling and are generally paid less than most people in regular jobs.. In the olden times, the temples and kings cared for the dancers.. but now it is different.. there are lots of dancers and less paying opportunities... truly it seems we do our best dance when we do not perform for money and let our passion for the form shine through... if we spend our time thinking and connecting with our sensitive self, I think we can make a difference in our programs and get people to notice us... maybe money will follow?
