Subha, they write that "sweeping distortions and change" that they have witnessed, but they never wrote where one could see their performances and lec-dems that would highlight those "distortions", and they never wrote why "change" was bad.

After all these are the same "sins" that the Thanjore Quartet committed 2 centuries ago... I am curious to know if the honourable offsprings of the great gurus still think that their art bears the slightest resemblance to what Bharata Muni practised, and if these honourable offsprings still believe that "hereditary descendants" are those that have to be worshipped regardless of their skill and wisdom.

Do you know if these honourable offsprings of the great gurus still believe that Bharata Muni's "100 sons" meant that he physically begot 100 male descendants from his (many?) wives?

I do not think that a tiny "Tapaysa 's research documentary Marainthuvarum Marabugal" (quoted from their web site), now buried somewhere in the dusty archives, has revealed that much.

Besides, the "Friends of Tapasya - Yahoogroup" (Friends of Tapasya Kala Sampradaya) has 2 messages since Sep 2004.
