I agree that in the materialistic and $$$$-worshipping America, there is no place for real (divine) beauty.

The American "Artistic enterprise" is just a business enterprise, and, in the American rationalistic culture, it has to have some rational "meaning", leaving no place for beauty.

This is why you write that beauty is secondary in the USA. This is why I said that the American "culture" is ugly.
