The ultimate goal for a teacher should be whatever your student does, should be upto your satisfaction (specially technique wise), and student should feel content that she has done justice to her training/

Parents can be pushy at times, but it's in our hands as teachers to break this scary devil called " arangetrams tradition and set a new trend.

Also looking after orchestra, some celebrity singer can put extra stress on the teacher too, with their demands. At least with pre recorded music one can have peace of mind.
