1st Year Navarathri Kolu Contest - 2007

October 31, 2007

For the first time, the "Mylapore Trio" of Sri Sumukhi Rajasekharan Memorial Foundation organized Navarathri Kolu Competition exclusively for the Chennai residents. Criteria were traditional Kolu, theme, creativity, decorations, hospitality etc....

The prizes were distributed by the chief guest Revathy Sankkaran, during a special function at Sri Dakshinamurthy Auditorium, Mylapore, on 28th October 2007. Though it was raining cats and dogs, all the prize winners were present. The audience was enthralled by the Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music performed by the Foundation children.
