She lauded the efforts of the Foundation in perpetuating our tradition and culture, especially in Mylapore.

The evening started with performance of the awardee children followed by 'Sri Vaishnavam,' a soul stirring thematic program of music (bhajans) and dance, conceived, directed and executed by the Trio and presented by "Sakala Kala Valli" Revathy Sankkaran and performed by Gayatri Balagurunathan and the Foundation children. The stage was aesthetically set with a divine ambience, depicting Vaishnavism.

The Trio added that the Utsav had no sponsors as such, but they enjoyed doing it with dedication and commitment, along with likeminded and service oriented parents, friends and well-wishers.
