"We are very excited to be opening in this location," says founder Shashikala Ravi. "When I expressed my desire to convert this space we bought into a dance studio, my husband Ravi whole heartedly agreed, went on to create this for me and has provided the best possible facilities. Bharatanatyam is my passion and I am so grateful for this opportunity to share my passion with others in this beautiful setting with all the modern amenities. Students will be encouraged to give performances on the stage, thus boosting their morale and make them confident performers on the stage."

Students of Amritanjali School gave a Bharatanatyam recital on the occasion, displaying their talent honed under their able Guru. The studio will be available for workshops, lecture demonstrations, music and dance concerts, video shoots and other cultural events.
