Outstanding success of Shubanjali

Shubanjali School of Performing Arts, a premier organization in New Jersey, teaching and performing the Indian classical dance form of Bharatanatyam and traditional folk dance forms, sparkled with success at the dance competitions organized by the Hindu Temple and Cultural society of USA at Bridgewater, NJ, during the "7th Annual Indian American Festival" celebrations on the 8th and 9th of July.

Well trained students of Guru Suba Ramesh Parmar won the first place in the categories of Junior folk group, the winners being Anagha Prasanna, Sanjana Umarale, Divya Krishnan, Sadhana Subramanian, Madhumita Parmar, Arathi Elango, Bianca Karmakar, Sheeba Karmakar, Renu Thyagaraj, Priya Thyagaraj, Avni Jain, Nisha Sambamurthy, Shruthi Patel, Kavya Udupa and Mehak Chawla.

In the Senior classical group, the winners were Sharbari Bose, Dhanya Chandramohan and Sumana Ramakrishnan. The dance school also bagged the prestigious title of "Outstanding dance school of New Jersey" for this year, the winners being Sharbari Bose, Shobana Raj, Dhanya Chandramohan and Sumana Ramakrishnan.

Shubanjali School of Performing Arts is committed to teaching dance for the past 15 years and has many dance productions including Ramayana, Dance of the Mind, Tales of Krishna, Shakthi Darisanam Chaula Devi, and Splash the Wonder to its credit. Shubanjali conducts classes at Wayne and Scotch Plains in New Jersey.
