For IMFF, Men's fashion fair organized by Prasad Bidapa and Associates, Bangalore based contemporary dance company Nritarutya was invited to open the collection of one of India's leading designers, Hemant Trivedi. His set of designs was divided into 3 segments.

The first concept was 'Taoism,' where everything was in black and white. The 2 dancers of Nritarutya, male and female, used the concept of Yin and Yang to depict the nature of opposites.

The second concept was 'Sufism,' where the dancer used a lot of twirls with his hands always pointing towards heaven and earth, in an authentic Sufi costume.

The third concept was 'Voodoo.' The dancer was tattooed all over his torso to bring out the mysterious nature of the voodoo man. The dancer used powerful spinal movements along with jumps and kicks to bring out the mysticism of Voodoo.

The event took place at the Bangalore palace, on October 14, 2006.  The performance was choreographed by Mayuri Upadhya and Sathya B G. The dancers were Sathya B G, Madhuri Upadhya and Umesh Naidu.
