Nrityagram conducts a Village Outreach Program where about 300 local village children receive free training at Nrityagram.

For those who cannot go to Nrityagram for dance training, instructors travel to Bangalore to conduct weekly classes at the Palace Grounds. On Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, training is given in Odissi and includes yoga and an introduction to the Nrityagram philosophy. There is no age limit except that students have to be over 6 years. Right now, the total duration of training is 5 hours per week.
