MAHAGAMI
- Mahatma Gandhi Mission Sangeet Academy, Aurangabad is a gurukul dedicated
to the training, dissemination and promotion of the performing arts. The
academy has recently devised an art appreciation series named ANUBHUTI
meaning 'an experience'. This appreciation session is arranged free of
cost for various organizations, educational or social institutes and any
group of art aspirants. The session seeks to initiate the onlooker towards
the various aspects of the performing arts. The two-hour presentation comprises
of a lecture, demonstration, CD-ROM display, slide show, audio-visual presentation,
discussion, etc. Since, MAHAGAMI imparts training in Odissi & Kathak
(Indian classical dances), Dhrupad (Indian classical vocal form) and Pakhawaj
(Indian classical percussion instrument), the appreciation sessions are
focused on any one of the above disciplines. Anubhuti could be arranged
in your organization or any institute suggested by you. The entire Anubhuti
family comprising of performing artists, students of the performing arts,
young technocrats, software professionals and technicians will be more
than happy to offer its services regarding the same.
