The absolutely exquisite design installation by Sandhya Raman THE
ENCHANTED TREE is an experience of art, visual design and live
performance. Using the time honoured tree motif, Sandhya Raman
tweaked the metaphor to embrace the 5 senses and the 5 elements.
Subtitled A DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE EXOTIC AND THE USUAL, the textural
selections of twisted braids, coloured thread, paper mache trees,
densely woven cloth and fluttering pith birds invaded the Kamaladevi
Gallery at India International Centre, New Delhi with robust vigour from
15th -18th March 2017.
